The One by Kiera Cass

First things first: cover art. Like the first two books (see my reviews here and here) we can see America in a beautiful dress with a crystal mirror background. In all the covers the thing that I love the most is the dresses! This one is pure white, foreshadowing perhaps? I sure hope it is! This cover art on this one is my absolute favorite, the white almost gives it a winter feel in the mirrors behind her.

Summary:
The time has come for one winner to be crowned.

When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown—or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose—and how hard she'll have to fight for the future she wants.

These books, I just love them so so much! I seriously finished The Elite and The One on the same day, and got maybe four hours of sleep. So worth it though! After finishing the second book I was so nervous to pick this one up. I just can't stand seeing America and Maxon not end up together that would be so cruel to us readers! I don't want to give anything away but I will say that I did enjoy the ending and can not wait to get the fourth book. (I am hold number 90 something at the library!). Just like all the other ones the imagery is amazing, several things will come to light and someone will die. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Rating: 10 out of 10. These books are amazing!!!!!

Content rating: 2 (12-18). These books contain a little bit of teen romance, a small bit of violence, and a whole lot of drama.
